The difference between short and long term vacations
Let’s discuss the 2 types of vacations and the differences.
What is the difference between a short haul and a long haul?
Short distance vacations
A short-haul destination is good for families as the trip is not so far for young children to sit on a plane, normally you can find discounted vacations to these destinations from major tour operators where I based my research.
A short-haul stay normally includes a flight within 4 hours from the UK. The destinations include France, Italy, Greece and Turkey belong to the category of short-haul flights.
The all-inclusive package is ideal for family vacations, and there are usually plenty of discounts available for featured destinations.
This is the short haul reviewed now, let’s talk about the long haul.
Long haul travel
A leading vacation company that I have met is a travel company specializing in long haul and covering the world when it comes to long haul travel, they pride themselves on providing luxury accommodation in these destinations and have won various travel awards over the past 25 years. what sets this company apart from the crowd.
Long-haul vacation destinations are the most remote parts of the world such as India, Thailand, China, and Japan to name a few.
Flights to these destinations normally take over 8 hours from the UK and sometimes require a change of planes en route, especially destinations such as Australia and New Zealand.
The best place to find discount vacations is usually the short-haul market, as there are more flights that tour operators will allocate seats on and if they don’t sell, they are normally offered.
There is a range of medium-haul destinations for flights around 6 hours from the UK and places to visit include Dubai, Egypt and more.
